    Jeleśnia
    The Baroque church of Saint Adalbert in Jeleśnia is a three nave building with some features of pseudo basilica (with the nave taller, than the aisles). The church has some interesting architectural elements inspired by the Slovakian culture. These include the dome, similar to those we can see in several churches of our southern neighbor. Karol Wojtyła visited the Jeleśnia parish several times - including the canonical visitation in the spring of 1978 - six months before he was elected pope.

    At the entrance to the conspicuous wooden building in the center of Jeleśnia on can read the following words: Hey, folks, are you crazy? Hey, folks, are you fools? There is a inn on the road, And you are going home? "The Old Inn" in Jeleśnia is one of many such places once standing in the villages of the Beskids. The origins of the inn, which now, as in the past, serves its purpose date, in general, to the sixteenth, seventeenth or eighteenth centuries. It is one of the monuments located on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesia province.

    The Adam Małysz ski jump in Wisła Malinka is the second largest in Poland after the Wielka Krokiew (The Great Krokiew, in Polish krokiew means rafter) in Zakopane. The construction began at the time whether champion from Wisła was winning victories, and was completed in 2008. It is a modern facility, which hosts the highestranking competitions

    The village of Cięcina, which lies at the bottom of the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids, boasts having a very interesting sacral monument. It is a sixteenth-century Church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. It is one of the monuments on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Silesia province and the local Papal Trail. The one-nave church with a tower has been rebuilt several times. It is one of the most precious monuments of the southern part of the Silesian voivodeship.

    One of the greatest assets of Wisła, a town located in the mountains, is the wildlife of the Silesian Beskid. Mountains, streams and forests full of animals aroused admiration as early as the nineteenth century, when a planned forest management was launched. While staying in the resort at the foot of Barania Góra, it is worthwhile to visit the Historical Chamber and the Office of the Forester, which are situated at the building of the Forestry Management office. There, we will learn, inter alia, about the job of old foresters.

    The Museum of Pharmacy in Wisła is housed in the Highland Cottage “Kleszczonka” located at 22 Głębce Street. Pharmacy exhibits have been collected by the Cieciał and Zakolski families. Among them, there are items belonging to Paweł Cienciał, the first pharmacist in Wisła. In addition to the typical equipment of an old pharmacy, we can also see some curiosities. Worth a visit if only for the 140-year-old dry-herbal sauna or 200-year-old, wooden stethoscope.
