    One of the greatest assets of Wisła, a town located in the mountains, is the wildlife of the Silesian Beskid. Mountains, streams and forests full of animals aroused admiration as early as the nineteenth century, when a planned forest management was launched. While staying in the resort at the foot of Barania Góra, it is worthwhile to visit the Historical Chamber and the Office of the Forester, which are situated at the building of the Forestry Management office. There, we will learn, inter alia, about the job of old foresters.

    The Museum of Pharmacy in Wisła is housed in the Highland Cottage “Kleszczonka” located at 22 Głębce Street. Pharmacy exhibits have been collected by the Cieciał and Zakolski families. Among them, there are items belonging to Paweł Cienciał, the first pharmacist in Wisła. In addition to the typical equipment of an old pharmacy, we can also see some curiosities. Worth a visit if only for the 140-year-old dry-herbal sauna or 200-year-old, wooden stethoscope.

    In 2009, six monumental wooden sculptures of robbers were erected at the promenade in Węgierska Górka, forming the so-called Alley of Brigands. It is a reminder and an original promotion of brigand traditions, closely connected with the history of the region. The sculptures form a gallery, which is unique in Poland, of the characters of the famous brigands and presents the history of brigandage in the lands of Żywiec. The sculptures were by folk artists who came to the Beskids from all over Poland.

    The church of the Finding of the Holy Cross in Wisła Głębce is a very successful combination of a new architecture with historic details. The body of the church was built in the early 80s of the last century, but the tower is older than ... four hundred years. Because it comes from the church in Połomia near Jastrzębie-Zdrój, from where it was moved to Wisła and painstakingly reconstructed. The church stands on the slope of a hill, and at its foot the Kopydło stream rustles gently.

    The chapel of Saint Hedwig on the hill of Zadni Groń in Wisła is part of the mansion belonging to the President of the Republic of Poland. The wooden Tyrolean-style building was erected in 1909, at the time when the hunting mansion of the Habsburgs, which had been built a bit earlier) was already standing nearby. Today, the property is located in the area administered by the Office of the President,but it is open to the public. Both Evangelical and Catholic services are held here.

    The Mansion of the President of the Republic of Poland in Wisła is a Modernist building, erected in the years 1929-1930, in a picturesque, wooded area on the slopes of the hill called Zadni Groń, in the southern part of Wisła. It is the Residence of the President. The mansion resembling a medieval castle was designed by Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz. It was built from donations of the inhabitants of Silesia and ceremoniously handed over to President Ignacy Mościcki.

    In the vicinity of Jeleśnia and Korbielów, close to the roads running to the border, there are defensive fortifications dating back to just before the Second World War. In contrast to the popular and frequently visited sites in Węgierska Górka, the local fortifications are much less well known and visited mostly by fans of militaries. There are several sites located in the vicinity Krzyżowa, situated on the road from Żywiec to Korbielów.
