    Złoty Potok
    In Złoty Potok, a village of the Polish Jura, which is beautifully situated on the Wiercica, a tourist may not complain about the lack of attractions. These areas are renowned for their landscape values, and there is no shortage of monuments. In the center of the village, it is worthwhile to stop for a moment in the meticulously restored market square known under the name of Saint John’s The Baptist Square. The local parish church is also worth visiting, while the square itself is adorned with a fine well and a bronze statue of the "Nosiwódki", - a woman carrying the buckets of water.

    The church of Saint John the Baptist in Złoty Potok was built probably in the late thirteenth century. In the following centuries, it was rebuilt several times - for example, distinctive tower was added in the second half of the nineteenth century. Inside the church there are primarily Mannerist and Baroque monuments, but it is also worthwhile to see to the nineteenth-century mortuary chapel of the Krasiński family.

    The January Uprising Monument located on Mount Wilcza Góra (Wolf Mountain) in Złoty Potok consists of a cylindrical pedestal placed on the foundation and topped with a small chapel with statues and paintings. It commemorates the victory of the insurgents in the battle of Janów on July 6, 1863, as well as and other battles and the victims of the brutal crackdown carried out by the Russians. In 1983, an inscription was placed here, commemorating Saint Brother Albert, who in his youth participated in the January Uprising.

    In the town of Żarki town located near Zawiercie, in the Polish Jura, one can find the Shrine of Our Lady of Leśniów, the Patroness of the Families. A miraculous statue of Our Lady with the Child is worshipped in the sanctuary. The statue is said to have been brought to Leśniów by Vladislaus II of Opole at the end of the fourteenth century. The sculpture adorns the main altar of the church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in whose neighborhood there is a monastery of the Pauline Fathers.

    Złoty Potok
    The palace of Złoty Potok was rebuilt at the initiative of the new owner of the property, General Wincenty Krasiński in the 1850s. It was erected on the site of a castle, and earlier of a fortified mansion, which had been standing here since the end of the thirteenth century. In 1857, Zygmunt Krasiński, a national poet of Polish Romantic literature was staying with his family in the palace. The final neo-classicist form was given to the building at the beginning of the twentieth century, after the reconstruction made by Count Karol Raczyński. The palace is surrounded by a park.

    One of the monuments of Złoty Potok associated with Zygmunt Krasiński is a Classicist mansion built by Wincenty Krasiński, poet’s father, in the first half of the nineteenth century. Wincenty Krasiński bought this property in 1851. Zygmunt, one of our three national poets, stayed here twice. During his second visit in 1857, he learned the area quite well, which resulted in giving certain names to the surrounding objects. Currently, the mansion houses a museum.

    Złoty Potok, a village in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, attracts tourists with the beautiful Wiercica Valley, the impressive palace and the nearby manor, which houses the Museum of Zygmunt Krasiński, as well as with tasty trout. We will also find the Forestry Management headquarters situated in a century-old, brick manor, in which many years ago, the administration of the estates of Złoty Potok operated. The building itself is an interesting monument, and on its premises a chamber dedicated to nature and forest environment has been arranged.

    Muzeum Dawnych Rzemiosł to muzeum interaktywne – rodzaj parku technicznego. Elementy ekspozycji pozwalają na: dotykanie, zaglądanie, sprawdzanie, wąchanie itd. Zwiedzający będą mogli samodzielnie wykonywać drobne prace związane z rzemiosłami, zarówno podczas zwiedzania ekspozycji jak i w sali warsztatowej. Obiekt jest przystosowany do zwiedzania przez osoby niepełnosprawne.

    Suliszowice
    From the Ostrężnika go to Suliszowice. Here, at the top of the lonely ostańca, you can see the ruins of the former fortress. Was built probably at the end of the 14th century, during the reign of King Casimir III the great by then-Mayor suliszowieckiego. Access to structures in the shape of the tower was only possible by using ladders.
