The area is located in the village of Zabierzów, within Cracov County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, about 11 km from Cracov. Located on a beautiful scenic and interesting in terms of the construction of geological area Tenczyn. The surface has an area of 19,47 ha and was established in 1959 in order to protect the natural landscape of the Ore mountains, river rock and turn of the vegetation and forest. There is 18 plant species protected, among others. Aconitum Leu, epipactis livid, rare common, green Hellebore. The most beautiful part of the area is steep, with almost vertical walls of limestone rock with a height of about. 25 m with etched her historical inscriptions and rock vegetation. In addition it is reserve a few other smaller limestone rocks from the Jurassic period, located in the forest, created mainly by Oaks.
The name is derived from rocks of the Knight, which is derived from the legend Kmita early 16th century unfortunately fell in love with the beautiful Olympia Bonerówna, daughter of the then owner of Balice. Not being able to marry her, threw himself out of desperation with a horse of this rock, bearing the death on the spot. Bonerówna reportedly given to the order.
