Archipresbietrial Church of the assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Mary's Church-one of the largest and most important, after Wawel Cathedral, the Church of Cracow. Basilica since 1963. One of the most famous landmarks of Cracow and Polish. Is located on the North-East corner of the main square, St Mary's square. According to Jan Długosz parish church at the market square of Cracow was donated by the Bishop of Kraków from Odrowąż Iwona 1221-1222. In the years 1290-1300, was built partly on its foundations, a new Church in the Gothic style, consecrated in 1320.

The second part of the Church along with the main entrance, is designed for personal prayer before issued in the monstrance the Blessed Sacrament and to the possibility of acceding to the confession. The entrance to this part of the Church, it is possible for everyone all the time and does not require any fees.
